I am a printmaker who enjoys finding and experimenting with new ideas in printing and displaying images. Much of my art is inspired by the textures found on old weathered surfaces. Pavements, pathways, old tiled floors, weathered wooden structures and rusted metal are all rich sources of ideas.
My prints are original handmade prints, either dry point or collagraphs (prints made from textured 'plates' ) and printed using an etching press. I then add colour as watercolour or ink so no two plates are the same.
Folding prints into books (some of which may be opened and displayed on a wall) is my solution to the dilemma of having more art than wall space to hang it.
